About

As a self-taught landscape artist, I capture the beauty and tranquility of the natural world through acrylic and watercolor paintings. My work is inspired by New England’s diverse landscapes – forests, trails, oceans, and skies – and reflects the dynamic balance between nature’s serenity and the fast-paced world around us.

Drawing from my architectural background (I hold a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University), I use brushstrokes, lines, and color palettes to evoke both movement and calm. My pieces invite viewers to not just admire the landscape but to feel a deeper connection to it – whether through the sense of peace it brings or the inspiration to explore the outdoors.

I specialize in creating art that transforms natural spaces, telling stories of meaningful locations that resonate with anyone who appreciates nature’s power to restore and rejuvenate. I’m passionate about blending art and nature to create moments of stillness and reflection in a chaotic world. My work has been exhibited throughout the Metrowest Boston area, and I am an active member of the Natick Art Association, Wellesley Society of Artists, Dedham Art Association, and Newton Art Association.

Why make art?

“Art is and always has been the thing that sustains us. It is the thing that gives us language that we don’t otherwise have the vocabulary for. It is the thing that connects us around this common moment, this common feeling, this common melody.”
